This qualification is ideal for those in roles such as emergency services, event medical teams, or community first responders, who are required to provide immediate care in emergency situations. This 3-day course offers an in-depth understanding of prehospital emergency care and ensures learners acquire the essential knowledge and practical skills to respond effectively to a range of emergency scenarios. Topics covered include patient assessment, trauma management, CPR, and administering emergency oxygen, among others. The FREC 3 certificate is valid for 3 years, after which learners must complete a refresher course to maintain their qualifications and continue working at a FREC 3 scope of practice.
